Ukraine exported over 28 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, and as of April 11, 2014, Ukraine already exported 28.338 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 7.932 mln tonnes, maize - 17.972 mln tonnes, barley - 2.154 mln tonnes, other grain crops – 0.28 mln tonnes.
As of reporting date the port elevators stored 1.133 mln tonnes of grains (398 thsd tonnes of wheat, 103 thsd tonnes of barley, 621 thsd tonnes of maize), loaded onto vessels – 28 thsd tonnes of grains.
Thus, the volumes of grains, exported and prepared for exports, totaled 29.5 mln tonnes (8.4 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.3 mln tonnes of barley, 18.6 mln tonnes of maize).
