As of April 1, 2014, the carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 621.126 thsd tonnes, reported the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the announcement, grain harvesting centers and elevators stocked 73.365 thsd tonnes of oilseeds, agricultural enterprises – 253.642 thsd tonnes, peasant and individual farms – 143.055 thsd tonnes, and other enterprises – 151.063 thsd tonnes.
In particular, sunflower seed volumes reached 279.282 thsd tonnes, flaxseed – 126.321 thsd tonnes, rapeseed – 96.167 thsd tonnes, safflower – 17.471 thsd tonnes, mustard seed – 8.126 thsd tonnes, and soybeans – 82.367 thsd tonnes.
