In January-March, 2014 Ukraine produced 1.1 mln tonnes of the crude sun oil, up 13% compared to the same rate of the first quarter of 2013, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In particular, in the previous month the sun oil production reached 405 thsd tonnes, up 31.1% compared to the March 2013 and up 18.9% compared to February, 2014.
In the stated period there was the margarine and edible fats production decrease of 1% - to 72.3 tonnes. In particular, in March, 2014 the stated commodities' production totaled 26.2 thsd tonnes, down 0.1% compared to March, 2013, but up 6.3% compared to the same rate of February, 2014.
