In the period of April 1-28, 2014, Ukraine exported 60 thsd tonnes of barley, as opposed to the same rate of February and March, 2014 (7.4 thsd tonnes and 7.3 thsd tonnes respectively). At the same time, the stated rate exceeds the grain exports of April, 2013 (6.2 thsd tonnes) in 9.7 times.
Note, the analysts of APK-Inform increased the barley export potential to 2.3 mln tonnes, as opposed to 2.2 mln tonnes in the previous month.
