Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, and as of May 8, 2014, Ukraine already exported 29.971 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, in the reported period the wheat exports totaled 8.572 mln tonnes, maize – 18.791 mln tonnes, barley – 2.269 mln tonnes.
According to data of the Ministry, there were 1.092 mln tonnes of grains (458 thsd tonnes of wheat, 71 thsd tonnes of barley, 554 thsd tonnes of maize) stocked at the portside elevators, the shipped ones – 233 thsd tonnes.
Thus, the exported and prepared for exports grain crop volumes totaled 31.3 mln tonnes (9.1 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.3 mln tonnes of barley, 19.5 mln tonnes of maize).
