The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) of Russia will analyze the price situation on the bread market in the Crimea, declared the Head of FAS Department for Control over Chemical Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex, Anna Mirochinenko on May 13, 2014.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea, Rustam Temirgaliev stated in May the prices for the social grade bread in the Crimea faced an increase of 10%.
At the same time, the representatives of FAS mentioned that it is necessary to abide by the norms of the Russian Anti-Monopoly Legislation, including the Law “On the competition protection” and “On the basis of the trade activity's state regulation in the Russian Federation”. The experts added that the market representatives have to participate in the experts and consultative soviets of the FAS on the food market regulation.
