As of May 16, 2014 Ukraine exported 30.5 mln tonnes of grains, up 43.2% compared with the rate of the same period of the previous season, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reported date the wheat exports had totaled 8.8 mln tonnes, maize – 19.1 mln tonnes, barley – 2.3 mln tonnes and other grains – 0.34 mln tonnes.
