Ukraine should sign the economic part of the Association Agreement with the European Union immediately after the inauguration of the new president of Ukraine, declared Petro Poroshenko, candidate for the President of Ukraine, on May 28.
According to him, the signing and entry into force of the Association Agreement would provide the possibility of imposition of the specific anti-corruption measures and reform package in the nearest future.
P.Poroshenko expressed the hope that the EU and its leaders, who consistently supported the European choice of Ukrainian citizens and declared readiness to complete the Association Agreement signing after the presidential elections in Ukraine, would also support his position.
