Ukraine: selling prices of agricultural commodities grew by 3% - State Statistics Service
In January-May of 2014 in Ukraine the average selling prices of agricultural enterprises (excluding small ones) for agricultural commodities increased by 3% compared with the same period in 2013, declared the press-service of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on June 16.
In particular, according to the State Statistics Service, in the reporting period the average prices for commodities of the plant growing industry lowered by 4.3% compared with 2013, the prices for livestock commodities - up 9.6%.
In May 2014 the average selling prices for agricultural products grew by 5% compared with the previous month, in particular for plant growing commodities – up 6.7%, for livestock commodities - down 0.7%.
