Russia: Government allocated over 400 mln RUR of subsidies to support Crimean agrarians

The Government of Russia approved distribution of the subsidies granted from the federal budget in 2014 to the budgets of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, to co-finance the expenditure obligations related to support of the economically significant regional programs on agricultural development in plant growing and livestock sectors. Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, signed the corresponding decree #1007-r dd. May 9, 2014.

In accordance with the reporting document, the federal budget will allocate 409.8 mln RUR for the purposes in the current year.

In particular, co-financing of the plant growing industry of the region will total 339.93 mln RUR, including 310.86 mln RUR – for the budget of the Crimea, and 29.07 mln RUR - budget of Sevastopol.
