In January-May of 2014 Russia imported 229 thsd tonnes of palm oil and its fractions, a decrease of 1.1% compared with the same period in 2013, declared the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) on June 24.
Also, during the reporting period Russia significantly decreased the imports of sunflower oil - down 74.9%, to 0.6 thsd tonnes.
