In 2014 the growth rate of the Russian economy will become even higher compared with the rates forecasted in the beginning of the year, declared Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on June 24 in Vienna during a meeting with representatives of the Austrian business.
Last year the GDP increased by 1.3% only. In the current year the index will reach even more significant rates, said V.Putin. Also, he stressed that the current dynamics of development of the national economy is "good” in general.
During 5 months of the current year the rates of growth in the industrial sector almost reached 2%. In the first quarter of 2014 the consumer demand in Russia increased by 3.2%, said the President of Russia.
