Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy to compensate losses to agrarians due to the antiterrorist operation
Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, plans to initiate compensation for losses of crops areas as a result of the current antiterrorist operation in eastern oblasts of the country.
According to him, to date the Ministry provides the initiative in the Cabinet of Ministers. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Ministry of Finance discuss the possibility of compensation for losses of crops to the enterprises of Donbass, said I.Shvaika.
The Minister offers to consider money compensation at the sum actually lost harvest volumes, as the entrepreneurs are unlikely to receive insurance payments due to the force-majeure circumstances.
