The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine encourages the signing of the economical part of the Association Agreement and Free Trade Zone creation between Ukraine and the European Union. At the same time, the Ministry regards the European market as the one of potential sales markets for Ukrainian commodities, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Igor Schwayka.
The Minister stated there are other directions for Ukrainian commodities, first of all – Asian and African markets. The priority areas are China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
I.Schwayka added that Russia is in the list of interests of Ukrainian agrarians. Ukraine will supply the food products in all countries, being ready to purchase them, including Russia. At the same time, at an early date Russia can apply the trade barriers. Thus, Ukraine will refocus export on domestic and other markets.
