Since the beginning of 2013/14 MY (July 1, 2013), and as of June 25, 2014, Russia exported 25.232 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 61.5% compared with the same date in 2013 (15.536 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation referring to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
According to the announcement, wheat formed 18.238 mln tonnes of the reporting volume, barley – 2.622 mln tonnes, maize – 4.046 mln tonnes, other grain crops - 326 thsd tonnes.
In the period of June 1-25 the export volumes of Russian grains reached 656 thsd tonnes, including 344 thsd tonnes of wheat, 127 thsd tonnes of maize, 172 thsd tonnes of barley, and 13 thsd tonnes of other grains.
