According to the European Commission, on July 1 the Commission's standing committee on the food chain and animal health adopted a measure to cancel the current limitations on imports of Ukrainian sunflower oil. The reporting decision shall enter into force in 20 days after its official publication.
As a reminder, the import restrictions were imposed in 2008, after detecting of mineral oil pollutions in Ukrainian sunflower oil.
