According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as of July 22, 2014 Ukrainian agrarians had harvested grain throughout of 5.93 mln ha, or 60% of the plan (excluding Crimea). Thus, there were produced 19.09 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, the average yield totaled 3.22 t/ha.
According to the data of the Ministry, as of the same date of 2013 grains had been harvested throughout of 7.76 mln ha. There were produced 22.88 mln tonnes of grain with the average yield of 2.95 t/ha.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout of 3.76 mln ha. The general production totaled 13.12 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.49 t/ha.
Also, as of the reported date Ukraine had harvested winter barley throughout of 2.01 mln ha and produced 5.62 mln tonnes of grain with the yield of 2.8 t/ha.
Also, agrarians harvested rye throughout of 28 thsd ha. The general production totaled 65 thsd tonnes of grain with the yield of 2.34 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested oats throughout of 11 thsd ha. There were produced 19 thsd tonnes of grain with the yield of 1.73 t/ha.
At the same time, agrarians harvested 271 thsd tonnes of peas throughout of 120 thsd ha with the yield at the level of 2.26 t/ha.
Also, with the average yield of 2.28 t/ha Ukraine harvested winter rapeseed throughout of 716 thsd ha and produced 1.63 mln tonnes of the stated product.
