According to operative data as of July 24, Ukraine harvested 20.526 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 6.297 mln ha, or 64% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.26 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on July 24, 2013, agrarians harvested 24.24 mln tonnes of grains throughout 8.116 mln ha, with the average yield of 2.99 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 4.006 mln ha. The produced volumes totaled 14.183 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.54 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 2.111 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 5.936 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.81 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested rye throughout 41 thsd ha, the produced volumes reached 96 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.35 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 27 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 15 thsd ha, with the average yield of 1.81 t/ha.
Agrarians produced 285 thsd tonnes of peas, with the yield of 2.28 t/ha. The harvested areas reached 125 thsd ha.
Ukrainian agrarians continued harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 749 thsd ha, the volumes – 1.732 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 2.31 t/ha.
