According to official statistics data, in 2013/14 MY Russia exported nearly 18.3 mln tonnes of wheat, an increase of 65% compared with the previous season, but down 14% compared with the record index of 2011/12 MY (21.2 mln tonnes).
According to estimations of APK-Inform analysts, last season milling grain dominated in the shipment structure - 98% of the general exports of Russian wheat.
In 2013/14 MY Egypt and Turkey were the main countries-importers of Russian wheat. At the same time, their shares in the general export structure somewhat changed – 19%, against 24%, and 18%, against 19%, respectively.
