Russia bans imports of Ukrainian sunflower seed, soybeans and meal

Since August 1, 2014, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) bans the imports of sunflower seed, maize grits, soybeans and soy meal from Ukraine, announced the press-service of the department.

As a reminder, on July 29 Rosselkhoznadzor declared on the possibility of imposing the ban in connection with the cases in determining of plant quarantine objects in the cargoes of Ukrainian origin, which are banned in Russia - ragweed, mat sandbur and bidens.
