Ukraine exported over 2 mln tonnes of grains – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of July 31, 2014, Ukraine exported 2.031 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, wheat exports totaled 824 thsd tonnes, barley – 900 thsd tonnes, maize – 288 thsd tonnes, other grains – 19 thsd tonnes.
In addition, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 252 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 2.283 mln tonnes (including 881 thsd tonnes of wheat, 1.033 mln tonnes of barley, 350 thsd tonnes of maize).
