Kazakhstan plans to increase grain exports to China, declared Kairat Aytuganov, Deputy Chairman of JSC National Management Holding KazAgro, on July 31.
According to him, the company is almost entering the Chinese market. Previously, the Chinese consumer was not acknowledged with the quality of Kazakh flour and grains. But to date the demand is growing. The exports of Kazakh commodities to China will continue increasing, added K.Aytuganov.
According to him, to date there is signed an agreement with China on the exports of 120 thsd tonnes of grains to the country.
Meanwhile, he noted that there are some obstacles for grain logistics to the People's Republic of China. Therefore, KazAgro is ready to assist to investors on construction of grain terminals on the border between Kazakhstan and China.
