Ukraine exported over 3.5 mln tonnes of grains – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of August 18, 2014, Ukraine exported 3.578 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, wheat exports totaled 1.739 mln tonnes, barley – 1.428 mln tonnes, maize – 368 thsd tonnes, other grains – 43 thsd tonnes.
In addition, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 236 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 3.814 mln tonnes (including 1.879 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.521 mln tonnes of barley, 371 thsd tonnes of maize).
