Ukraine: P.Poroshenko announced on dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada
Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine, adopted a decision to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada, announced the press-service of the Head of State on August 25.
“I decided to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation. The elections of the new parliament will be held on October 26, 2014,” informed the President's address.
As a reminder, on July 24, 2014, the parliamentary coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine split, and the new one was not created.
