According to operative data as of August 26, Ukraine harvested 35.172 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 9.624 mln ha, or 99% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.65 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 6.033 mln ha (99%). The produced volumes totaled 24.38 mln tonnes with the yield of 4.04 t/ha.
In addition, agrarians harvested 91 thsd tonnes of buckwheat throughout 62 thsd ha (45%), with the average yield of 1.47 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested 112 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 62 thsd ha (60%). The average yield totaled 1.82 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 388 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 339 thsd ha (7%), with the average yield of 1.14 t/ha.
Ukraine started harvesting soybeans, and produced 68 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout the areas of 39 thsd ha (2%). The average yield of the oilseed totaled 1.75 t/ha.
