According to operative data as of August 29, Belarus is continuing harvesting agricultural crops, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 4.68 thsd ha (24.5%) and produced 6.89 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 1.47 t/ha. Belarus harvested 2.88 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 1.45 thsd ha (22.7%) with the yield of 1.99 t/ha. Agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 375.6 thsd ha (94.1%) and produced 841.5 thsd tonnes of the oilseed with the average yield of 2.24 t/ha.
Also, the country continued planting winter rapeseed. As of the reporting date Belarus planted rapeseed throughout 360.1 thsd ha (87% of the plan).
