During 7 months of the current year, the import volumes of wheat to Tajikistan totaled 415.7 thsd tonnes, a decrease of 76.4 thsd tonnes compared with the same period last year, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the country.

In turn, the imports of flour totaled 104.5 thsd tonnes, up 12.3 thsd tonnes compared with January-July of 2013.

It should be noted that the imports of wheat and flour to Tajikistan was mainly realized from Kazakhstan.

It is also reported that the company Don garam LLC constructed the large-scale underground storehouse for grains in Tajikistan with the capacity of 6 thsd tonnes, and launched the experimental flour mill with the production capacity of 120 tonnes/day.
