Ukraine exported over 5.3 mln tonnes of grains – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of September 4, 2014, Ukraine exported 5.391 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 2.968 mln tonnes, barley – 1.966 mln tonnes, maize – 384 thsd tonnes, other grains – 79 thsd tonnes.
According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 310 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 5.701 mln tonnes (including 3.143 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.095 mln tonnes of barley, 384 thsd tonnes of maize).
