As of September 28, Kazakhstan harvested 21.077 mln tonnes of grain crops throughout the areas of 15.036 mln ha (98.3%). The average yield totaled 1.4 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, agrarians of one of the largest grain producing regions – Akmola oblast – already harvested grains throughout 100% of the planned areas, and produced nearly 5.124 mln tonnes. The average yield totaled 1.18 t/ha. Also, in Jambyl oblast agrarians completed the harvesting campaign, and produced 623.5 thsd tonnes of grains, as well as Aktobe oblast - 505.8 thsd tonnes, South Kazakhstan oblast - 397.1 thsd tonnes, and West Kazakhstan oblast - 360 thsd tonnes.
At the same time, in North Kazakhstan oblast agrarians continued the harvesting campaign (97.9% of the plan), and produced almost 5.5 mln tonnes of grains, and Kostanay oblast (99.3%) - 5.164 mln tonnes.
