For the first two months of 2017/18 MY, Russia almost doubled the exports of rapeseed
According to the official statistics figures, in August-September of 2017/18 MY Russia exported 34.3 thsd tonnes of rapeseed, an increase of 2.4 times compared with the same period last season (14.4 thsd tonnes). At the same time, both reporting months demonstrated two-fold increasing of the shipment volumes.
In the beginning of the current season, Mongolia became the largest importer of the Russian oilseed - 27% of the supplies, but last year the country took the 4th position only in the TOP of importers.
Also, Russia expanded the geography of supplies - in August-September period 8 countries purchased Russian rapeseed, against 5 countries last year. At the same time, in the current season Iran still did not import the oilseed, while in 2016/17 MY the country was the leader of the imports of Russian rapeseed.
