In January-September of 2017, Russia exported 20.93 mln tonnes of wheat and meslin at the general sum of 3.72 bln USD, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia on November 9.
According to the announcement, Russia traditionally shipped the major volumes of wheat to far abroad foreign countries – 19.96 mln tonnes (at 3.55 bln USD).
In the reporting period, wheat import volumes totaled 190.3 thsd tonnes (29.3 mln USD). Also, during nine months of 2017 Russia imported 160.3 thsd tonnes of barley (31.9 mln USD), 41.3 thsd tonnes of corn (138.1 mln USD), and 16.1 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils.
