In case of necessity, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia may provide grain purchasing interventions in early 2018, declared the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Jambulat Khatuov on November 9.
According to him, the authorities are preparing for future grain interventions. And if necessary, in the first months of 2018 the Ministry will make some adjustments to the process.
Also, he noted that the Ministry does not plan to liquidate the public intervention fund and refuse from the mechanism of purchasing interventions.
