Russia: in January-October, NCSP Group increased grain shipment volumes

In January-October of 2017, the grain shipment volumes by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 8.682 mln tonnes, an increase of 80% compared with the same period last year, or up 3.859 mln tonnes, declared the press-service of the company on November 15.

At the same time, in October 2017 NCSP Group broke a new record of monthly grain shipment - 1.218 mln tonnes, up 9.5% compared with September 2017.

According to the announcement, shipment volumes of chemical cargoes (including mineral fertilizers) lowered by 20.6% - to 610.9 thsd tonnes, and vegetable oils – up 1.4 times, to 352.8 thsd tonnes.

The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports – Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
