In January-October of 2017, the production volumes of agricultural commodities in Azerbaijan totaled 5.779 bln AZN, an increase of 4% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 17.
In particular, in January-October the production of livestock commodities reached 2.929 bln AZN (up 2.8%), and plant growing commodities - 2.850 bln AZN (up 5.3%).
In addition, as of November 1 the country already harvested 275.7 thsd tonnes of sugar beet (up 2.4 times), 29.9 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed (up 74.9%), autumn and spring grain crops including corn - 2.911 mln tonnes (down 4.6%).
