In January-October of 2017, the production volumes of crude sunflower oil in Ukraine totaled 4.209 mln tonnes, an increase of 26.4% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In particular, in October 2017 Ukraine produced 509 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil, up 47.1% compared with the figures for September 2017, but down 1.5% compared with October 2016.
As for flour production, in January-October of 2017 Ukrainian flour milling enterprises produced 1.59 mln tonnes of the product, down 1.5% compared with the same period last year. At the same time, in October 2017 Ukraine produced 180 thsd tonnes of flour, up 4.4% compared with September 2017, but down 2.5% compared with October 2016.
