Taking into account the Customs Union figures, in January 2018 Russia exported nearly 195 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil, against 267 thsd tonnes in the previous month (record monthly figures in the current season), reported APK-Inform analysts.
Generally, for the first 5 months of the season-2017/18 (September-January) Russia supplied more than 1 mln tonnes of the product on foreign markets. Taking into account forecasts of the exports in 2017/18 MY, Russia will export another 1 mln tonnes of sunflower oil until the end of the season.
