In September-March, Ukraine increased the production of soybean and rapeseed oils — Ukroliyaprom
In September-March of 2017/18 MY, Ukraine produced 118.7 thsd tonnes of soybean oil, up 23.1% compared with the similar figures last season, declared the press-service of the association Ukroliyaprom on May 3.
In addition, in the reporting period the production volumes of rapeseed oil totaled 46.9 thsd tonnes (up 73.7%).
According to the association, the reporting production volumes of oils were quite limited, due to the active exports of raw materials from Ukraine.
The EU countries (86%) and China (20%) were the main consumers of Ukrainian rapeseed oil, while the EU countries (43.7%), China (19.2%), India (12.6%) and others — soybean oil.
