In January-April of 2018, the general production volumes of crude sunflower oil and its fractions in Russia totaled 1.7 mln tonnes, an increase of 5.3% compared with the figures in the same period last year, reported the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
Also, in the reporting period Russia reduced the production of groats by 0.5% — to 482 thsd tonnes, and margarines — down 5.3%, to 156 thsd tonnes.
