Kazakhstan harvested over 7 mln tonnes of grains — Ministry of Agriculture

As of September 13, agrarians of Kazakhstan harvested 7.187 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, with the average yield of 1.27 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In particular, agrarians of Kostanay oblast produced the largest volumes of grains — 1.804 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.03 t/ha; while North Kazakhstan oblast — 1.304 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.49 t/ha; and Akmola oblast — 1.11 mln tonnes with the yield of 0.98 t/ha.

Also, Almaty oblast produced 768 thsd tonnes of grains with the average yield of 2.23 t/ha; Jambyl oblast — 671 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.4 t/ha; Turkistan oblast — 418 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.76 t/ha; East Kazakhstan oblast — 400 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.58 t/ha; Aktobe oblast — 250 thsd tonnes with the yield of 0.83 t/ha; Pavlodar oblast — 171 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.17 t/ha; West Kazakhstan oblast — 159 thsd tonnes with the yield of 0.66 t/ha; Karaganda oblast — 88 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.03 t/ha; and Kyzylorda oblast — 39 thsd tonnes with the yield of 2.61 t/ha.

As of the reporting date, the general harvested areas under grains and pulses reached 5.67 mln ha, or 37.8% of the plan.
