According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2018/19 (July 1), and as of September 25, Russia already exported 12.7 mln tonnes of wheat (including movements at the territory of the Customs Union countries), an increase of 37% compared with the same period last season, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products".

Also, in the reporting period Russia increased the export volumes of rye — up 4 times, to 103 thsd tonnes. At the same time, Russia decreased the foreign shipments of barley by 14% — to 1.7 mln tonnes, corn — down 35%, to 446 thsd tonnes, and peas — down 28%, to 217 thsd tonnes. The foreign supplies of wheat bran remained almost at the last year level, and totaled 160 thsd tonnes (up 1%).

In addition, Russia demonstrated the higher shipment rates of oilseeds and its by-products, compared with last year. Thus, in the period of July 1 - September 25 Russia exported 104 thsd tonnes of rapeseed (up 3 times), 82 thsd tonnes of sunflower meal (up 33%), and 60 thsd tonnes of rapeseed meal (up 4 times).

Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 16.1 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets, up 23% (or 3 mln tonnes) compared with the same period last year.
