As of September 27, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the general areas of 37.5 mln ha (in 2017 — 40.1 mln ha), or 83.6% of the plan. The production volumes reached 97.6 mln tonnes (122.5 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 2.6 t/ha (3.06 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 22.8 mln ha, or 85.7% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.93 t/ha, and the production volumes reached 66.8 mln tonnes. Also, Russia harvested 16.6 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.3 mln ha, or 92.1% of the plan. The average yield totaled 2.26 t/ha.

As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 807.7 thsd ha, or 33.4% of the planted areas. The production volumes totaled 2.9 mln tonnes, while the yield — 3.64 t/ha.

Russia started harvesting rice, and already produced 322.5 thsd tonnes of the grain. The harvested areas reached 51.1 thsd ha (28.2%), with the yield at 6.31 t/ha.

Agrarians continued harvesting sunflower seed, and already produced 3.6 mln tonnes of the oilseed. The harvested areas reached 2 mln ha (25.6%), with the yield at 1.77 t/ha.

In addition, rapeseed harvested areas reached 991.3 thsd ha, or 63.7% of the plan. The production totaled 1.5 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the yield of 1.49 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested 1.8 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 1 mln ha (36.2% of the plan). The average yield totaled 1.81 t/ha.

Also, Russia harvested 16.2 mln tonnes of sugar beet throughout 467.9 thsd ha, or 42.2% of the plan. The average yield reached 34.6 t/ha.

At the same time, Russia already planted winter crops for the harvest-2019 throughout the areas of 12.5 mln ha, or 72.9% of the forecast (in 2017 — 11.7 mln ha).
