The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation did not have plans to provide the public purchasing interventions of grains and dairy products in 2018, reported the Ministry on September 28.

According to the announcement, providing of the public grain purchasing interventions in the current year is hardly probable. Also, the Ministry did not plan to provide interventions on the milk market.

Within grain sales provided by CJSC National Mercantile Exchange (NAMEX), the intervention fund already exported 556.51 thsd tonnes of grains at the general sum of 5.254 bln RUR (excluding the canceled contracts). At the same time, the last trading day was held on September 27. But the date of the following trading day was not specified yet.
