As of October 1, 2018, the registered carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 1.031 mln tonnes, including 255.72 thsd tonnes in farming households, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, sunflower seed stocks totaled 139.81 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — 501.97 thsd tonnes, soybeans — 42.4 thsd tonnes, rapeseed — 285.5 thsd tonnes, safflower seed — 32.74 thsd tonnes, mustard seed — 26.4 thsd tonnes, and camelina — 503 tonnes.
As a reminder, as of July 1, 2018, the carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled nearly 400 thsd tonnes.
