In January-October of 2018 the Ukrainian seaports shipped 30.8 mln tonnes of grains which is 5.4% higher year-on-year, reported the press-service of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on November 15.
It is noted that the total transshipment of cargoes from the seaports for the 10 month totaled 100.8 mln tonnes which is almost corresponds to the last season figures.
Moreover, it is noted that for the reporting period the shipments of grains by Dnipro river amounted to 2.1 mln tonnes which is up 3.4% compared to the results of the previous year.
“For 10 months of 2018 there were 14680 ship journeys by Dnipro River that is by 1067 units or 8% higher year-on-year” reported the USPA.
