The leading trading company of Tajikistan, Rohi Somon LLC became the sponsor of the conference Middle East Grains&Oils Congress, to be held on March 11-12, 2019, in Cairo, Egypt.

In particular, Tajikistan is one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in the trade of grains, oilseeds and by-products. So, in 2017/18 MY Tajikistan increased the imports of Kazakh wheat by 3% compared with the previous season, and took the second position in the TOP of the grain importers (967 thsd tonnes, or 21% for 11 months of the MY).
At the same time, for 9 months of 2017/18 MY (September-May) the supply of oilseeds from Kazakhstan to Tajikistan increased by 17%, and reached 17.5 thsd tonnes. Also, Tajikistan purchased Kazakh sunflower oil, sunflower and soybean meals. Since the beginning of last season, the supplies totaled 7.5 thsd tonnes, 8.7 thsd tonnes and 5.9 thsd tonnes, respectively.
