According to the official statistics figures, in September-October of 2018/19 MY Russia exported 1.4 thsd tonnes of millet, a decrease of 10.3 times compared with the same period of 2017/18 MY (14.5 thsd tonnes).
In particular, in the beginning of the current season Turkey significantly reduced its purchases of the Russian grain — down 6.1 thsd tonnes. Also, the exports to Pakistan decreased by 2 thsd tonnes, Iran — down 1.8 thsd tonnes, and Germany — down 0.9 thsd tonnes.
In addition, nearly 10 countries, which purchased Russian millet in 2017/18 MY, still did not import the grain in the current season.
