For the first 10 months of 2018, Russia exported 36.797 mln tonnes of wheat and meslin at the general sum of 6.93 bln USD. The supplies increased by 50% compared with the same period in 2017 on weight basis, and up 59.9% in monetary terms, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia on December 7.

In the reporting period, wheat import volumes totaled 254.4 thsd tonnes (41.7 mln USD).

In January-October of 2018 Russia exported nearly 1.665 mln tonnes of vegetable oils at the general sum of 1.278 bln USD.

Also, the imports of barley totaled 12.7 thsd tonnes (2.1 mln USD), corn — 35.6 thsd tonnes (127.9 mln USD), soybeans — 1.783 mln tonnes (789.5 mln USD), and palm oil — 822.4 thsd tonnes (596.5 mln USD). In addition, Russia imported 21.9 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils.
