As of January 1, 2019, the registered carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 1.607 mln tonnes, including 360.27 thsd tonnes in farming households, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, sunflower seed stocks totaled 588.88 thsd tonnes, safflower seed — 28.53 thsd tonnes, rapeseed — 273.25 thsd tonnes, soybeans — 97.08 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — 571.35 thsd tonnes, mustard seed — 28.54 thsd tonnes, and camelina — 1.67 thsd tonnes.
As a reminder, as of October 1, 2018, the carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled over 1 mln tonnes.
