State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (PJSC) for the 9 months of the current season increased the export of grains by 12.2% to 1.4 mln tonnes (compared to 1.3 mln tonnes year-on-year), reported the press-service of PJSC on April 4.
Herewith, in March the export of grains totaled 324.3 thsd tonnes, which is 28.5% higher compared to the same period in 2018 (252.3 thsd tonnes).
“Corn became the main exported crop – the shipments increased by 60% this year to 1.18 mln tonnes, owing to the record crop in 2018 and the effective management together with successful sales strategy” – informed PJSC.
Also, it is reported that during the reporting period PJSC shipped products mainly to Austria, France, Portugal, Netherlands, Italy, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Bangladesh and China.
