Ukraine exported 22 mln tonnes of corn — SSUFSCP
Since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (July 1), and as of April 15, Ukraine already supplied 22 mln tonnes of corn on foreign markets, an increase of 39% compared with the same date last season, declared the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP).
Generally, in the reporting period Ukraine exported 40 mln tonnes of grain crops (up 18%). In particular, the exports of wheat totaled 13.7 mln tonnes (down 8%), including nearly 9 mln tonnes of milling wheat (up 7%), and 4.8 mln tonnes of feed wheat (down 33%). At the same time, the supplies of barley reached 3.2 mln tonnes (down 25%).
Also, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 4 mln tonnes of oilseeds, while in the same period of 2017/18 MY the volumes totaled 4.5 mln tonnes.
